Aikido North Instructor Staff
A life-long Alaskan, Diana Hedstrom started training at Aikido North in 1997 at the invitation of her brother Joe Fischer. She began assisting her husband Derek in the Tuesday Junior's class in 2003 and was promoted Shodan later that year. Always striving to make Aikido be a safe, nurturing and unconditionally positive environment for growth, she is one of the most regular students. Diana made Nidan in 2007. She and Derek teach every other Monday Adult's classes together as well as the Tuesday Junior's class.
